Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Istanbul, meet with the guide at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation in Istanbul.

Day 2: After breakfast at the hotel, the full day excursion begins. We drive to Suleiman Mosque, one of the most outstanding monuments of Istanbul as it can be considered as the first representation of classical Ottoman architecture. Next we do one of the most famous activities in Istanbul, a boat trip on the Bosphorus, a canal that separates Europe and Asia. During this trip you can see the Sultans’ palaces, old and typical wooden houses and enjoy history in a different way. Lunch will be taken at a restaurant in Tarabya district, famous for its Bosphorus view. After lunch we drive to Taksim Boulevard, one of the most important meeting and entertainment centers in Istanbul. After the break in Taksim, we cap our day with one of the main visits, the Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar) founded by the Ottomans in the 15th century. Drive to hotel. Accommodation in Istanbul.

Day 3: Free day. We offer an optional full day trip to the Jewels of Constantinople with Lunch: Visit to the ancient Hippodrome from Byzantine times. Today it preserves the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column and the Kaiser Wilhelm Fountain. Blue Mosque built in 1609 during the Ahmet Sultanate who wanted to surpass the Basilica of Santa Sofía with its 6-minaret mosque. Next we go to Topkapi Palace, residence of sultans until 19th century, where most of the valuable objects of Ottoman sultans are kept. Visiting Hagia Sophia, the most complete example of Byzantine art and one of mankind’s greatest achievements. Then transfer to visit the Grand Bazaar. Covered bazaar from 1660 that can be considered as a small town covered by hundreds of domes, four thousand shops inside with alleys, squares and 18 access doors. Drive to hotel. Accommodation in Istanbul.

Day 4: Journey home or extra nights. Breakfast at the indicated time, transfer to the airport. End of our services. Or extra nights if you wish.
